Archer Mortgage is committed to giving back to our community. The goal of our community outreach program is to be active supporters while increasing awareness of local causes that are meaningful to our employees.

In November of 2023, we took part in the Festival of Trees, which benefited the Dozoretz Hospice House of Hampton Roads. Our blue, white, and orange themed wreath was auctioned off and helped contribute to the over $20,000 raised in valuable funds for this wonderful cause.  Our own office Manager, Lucy Newman, became involved with this organization before construction began and continues to volunteer in their fundraising efforts.  This 12-bedroom, free-standing facility is set to open in the Spring of 2024.  To find out more information about Dozoretz Hospice House, please visit www.hospicehousehr.org.

In February 2024, Archer proudly sponsored the 15^th Annual Kay Stockwell Memorial CHKD Mixed Doubles tennis tournament.  As the title sponsor of this event, we helped raise over $60,000 to benefit CHKD and its new mental health hospital, Children’s Pavillion. CHKD was important to Aaron Archer Legum and his family as his son received treatment for Leukemia in 2002.  We continue to honor his legacy while supporting our local children’s hospital.
